The Council were keen to come up with a way of improving conditions across the extension without losing burial space; approaching CDS to design a drainage scheme to relieve the surface water problems.
CDS were able to carry out an initial assessment of the site which included a site visit, a review of drainage options and a detailed topographic survey. Once completed, CDS designed a site-specific drainage solution, accommodating the client’s requirements and ensuring the design was suitable for predicted increased and prolonged rainfall events inline with current SuDs guidance.
Following the client’s acceptance of the proposed design, CDS produced a detailed drainage specification document and construction drawings for the tendering process which was overseen by theCDS team.
CDS acted as the client’s agent throughout the construction phase; completing site inspections, works valuation assessments and quality checks. The construction works have been completed and final surface topping and seeding has taken place
