This week The CDS Group achieved planning permission for a new crematorium for Bolsover District Council, the application received unanimous votes in favour at the planning committee. The scheme was project managed, planned and designed in-house by CDS. Councillor Derek Adams congratulated the CDS Group for their work on the project, commenting: “I think it’s a fantastic design”. The application didn’t receive any public objections and was very well received, following the numerous public consultation events.
The CDS Group is delighted to now take this project forward to construction alongside an ambitious client. The client provided great feedback after the committee, “I just wanted to say a big thank you and a well done for the smooth handling and control shown throughout this planning application process. We couldn’t have asked for a better outcome from the meeting today or the process in general. We are all so pleased to be heading in to the next phase.”
The CDS Group met today with the client Bolsover District Council, PM and QSteam MAC Construction Consultants, Structural and Civils Scott White andHookins and M&E ESP Limited to kickstart RIBA Stage 4.
