CDS win planning approval for Charnwood Borough Council new cemetery

A unanimous vote to approve planning for the new Loughborough Cemetery for Charnwood Borough Council adds another success to The CDS Group planning, environmental and design team.

The cemetery will provide 80 years of burial and is designed with the environment and ecology in mind.

Within the application Sport England required the relocation of the existing MUGA and redevelopment of the sports ground car park.

CDS undertook a MUGA relocation report and new design scope.

Works are due to start imminently as only two years of burial space are left at the Council’s existing cemetery.
