Completed Project - Hazlemere Cemetery at Penn Road for Buckinghamshire Council - November 2020

The CDS Group have been delighted to have delivered the design, planning and project management of the new cemetery at Penn Road, Hazlemere, on behalf of Buckinghamshire Council.

Becky Ballinger headed up the planning team and was responsible for seeing all elements of planning were submitted and that all conditions were successfully discharged.

The landscape design team headed up by Anne Jennings have produced what will be a stunning landscape as it matures in the years to come.  Anthony our architectural technician designed a fabulous building that is both simple and stunning in its design. Anthony has designed the security elements of the building to work with the design and the wooden security slats keep the building looking both contemporary and in keeping with its rural location.

In line with the CDS Green Agenda, the buildings heating is via air source heat pumps and all electrical/light fittings are of low energy consumption.

AT Bone did a fabulous job of construction and landscaping, overcoming any issues with a can do attitude which is so refreshing, as this is something so sadly missing with some of the big players that tend to sit on most councils framework agreements and charge for everything including their mistakes!
